A new hotel development in Darling Harbour, Sydney, required both fixed and automated bollards as part of its security overlay. The project faced challenges due to most of the area being built on suspended slabs, necessitating bollards with a maximum embedment depth of 155mm and automated bollards with an opening aperture of over 6 metres.
We addressed these needs by combining the Matador 6 automated ultra-shallow mount bollard system with the Apex ultra-shallow fixed bollard system. This combination seamlessly integrated with the site’s paving and adapted to curved curbs, delivering a high-security, aesthetically pleasing solution that met depth constraints effectively.
