Federal Government Building, Brisbane

A Federal Government building in Brisbane underwent a comprehensive security upgrade featuring GK Solutions’ full range of products. The project included blast, ballistic, and forced entry-resistant windows, doors, guard booths, pass-through counters, a secondary internal façade, blast retrofits, fixed shallow mount bollards rated to 7.5 tons at 80 km/h and surface-mounted road blockers installed on a suspended slab.

One of the unique challenges was designing and implementing the internal secondary façade to integrate seamlessly with the building’s existing structure. Despite this complexity, we completed the project on time and within budget.
